Details
This versatile bag is made from handwoven Dhaka fabric which is traditionally handwoven on wooden looms throughout rural Nepal. The geometric design is often seen on traditional Nepalese clothing, shawls or traditional men’s ‘topi’ hats, a well-known heritage symbol of Nepalese cultural dress. The fabrics are usually made in batches by one weaver, making them difficult to reproduce - which makes each design unique. The bags are then handmade in a small artisan workshop in Kathmandu. The bag has a zipped top with an integral metal hinge which means it opens fully and will stay open, especially useful when searching for that elusive lipstick! Finished with a matt waterproof lining this colourful bag is not only stylish but multifunctional. Available in mustard yellow/black or red/turquoise/gold. Ethically made in Nepal.
